Lehigh MBA Admissions

Lehigh’s MBA program welcomes applications from graduates of accredited colleges and universities in all areas of concentration, including the humanities, the social sciences, the physical sciences and engineering. The MBA program admits about 120 new students each year into its program.

The Admissions Committee bases its decision upon the applicant's academic abilities, motivation, and maturity to complete graduate studies successfully. Evaluated areas include past academic performance, intellectual ability, leadership skills, accomplishments and management potential.

Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis and applicants will receive a decision approximately two weeks after a complete application is received.

REGULAR or ASSOCIATE Status
Applicants may apply to the MBA programs as a regular or associate student.

REGULAR status indicates the applicant plans to submit a complete application, including GMAT scores, by the regular student deadline.

ASSOCIATE status is available to those applicants who are unable to furnish GMAT scores by the regular deadline. Applications for associate status are considered only in the period following the regular deadline and only on a space-available basis. The applicant must supply all other application materials by the associate student deadline. If the applicant is unable to provide GMAT scores, the Admissions Committee will require an outstanding undergraduate record, preferably from an AACSB accredited school, in order to consider admission under associate status. An offer of admission under associate status permits the student a very limited number of courses before a satisfactory GMAT must be submitted to the MBA program. Associate status is available to U.S. applicants only. Associate students are not eligible for college-awarded financial aid.

Several academic credential evaluation services are available to international students who can not provide the required international documentation. The National Association of Credential Evaluation Services® (NACES) lists a number of accredited evaluation services from which applicants may choose.

Signing or not signing the waiver statement does not affect the admissions decision. Give the form to your recommender to complete. Your recommender is welcome to include a separate letter of recommendation along with the form. The recommender should seal the recommendation in an envelope and sign their name across the flap. The sealed recommendation may be returned to you for submission with your application materials or may be mailed directly to the MBA office. Letters from family members or friends will not be considered.

Aid is awarded in March by Lehigh’s Graduate Financial Aid Committee for the following academic year. Attach your resume to the form.
